Installation of my Oneida Air System dust collector
Here's the installation of the mounting
brackets.
Interior picture of the fan.
Oneida recommends attaching the fan unit to
the cyclone/filter unit before lifting onto the brackets, but this was much
too heavy for me to lift by myself. So I first mounted the fan/motor unit on
the brackets, then built a temporary support stand to hold the
cyclone/filter unit in place while I attached the two.
Here's the full unit installed without any
ductwork yet.
Here is the beginning of the ductwork.
It took a full weekend to get this far.
Here is the West end after completing most of
the ductwork. As you can see, I have one more run (right down the middle of
the ceiling) to go.
Here's the finished North East section.
Southwest area.
For the Table Saw, I installed a 5" flange and
used a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade to increase the size of the opening
in the TS door.
Another picture of the TS.
Here's the Band Saw hookup. I installed a 4"
flange.
Here's the jointer connection. Yet another 5"
flange.

Here's one of the two floor sweeps. These work
great combined with a blast gate (not shown).
Here's the drop with a combination of handtool
DC, jointer, and floorsweep.
Here's the DC drop that is for the drill press
(not moved into the shop yet) and the yet-to-be-built router table.
